Thursday we wanted one last "hurrah" before school started, so I took the kids to the Hogle Zoo. I haven't been for a few years, although the kids always go with their first grade classes on a field trip. The kids have all been more recently than I have. I don't think Sabra remembered much about it, so it was like a first trip for her. That's the fun part about having young children--it takes awhile for those long-term memories to develop!
